The Symposium on the Iberian Atlantic Margin (MIA) is a multidisciplinary scientific meeting between Portugal and Spain, held every three years. In 2025, on October 29, 30, and 31, its 11th edition will be hosted by the Hydrographic Institute. This is an informal and open event that aims to promote the presentation and discussion of the latest methods and results of scientific research conducted by researchers and postgraduate students on the processes and evolution of the Iberian Atlantic Margin, organized into different thematic areas and scientific sessions.

CESAM will be part of the Scientific Committee of MIA25, contributing to the selection and evaluation of the scientific communications presented at the event.
