10:00 - 16:00

During the Invasive Species Week, CESAM and Fábrica Centro Ciência Viva in Aveiro have joined forces to organize an activity that invites nature enthusiasts and curious individuals to explore the invasive species present in Ria de Aveiro. The goal of this experience is to provide a deeper understanding of what invasive species are, where they can be found, and their impact on the local ecosystem. The activity consists of two parts: the first invites participants to use a map to locate representative images of various aquatic invasive species scattered around the park adjacent to Fábrica, and the second part takes participants to the laboratory, where they can observe live specimens of invasive species in aquariums.

The activity will be available on May 20, from 10 AM to 4 PM, and will last approximately 60 minutes. No prior registration is required, and participation is free. This is an opportunity for everyone who wants to learn more about invasive species and the importance of preserving the ecosystem of Ria de Aveiro.
