The first edition of the Advanced Course: Analytical Methods in Community Ecology will take place from July 27th to 31st. This intensive 40-hour course provides a problem-based introduction to analytical methods in community ecology and combines lectures, guided practical exercises, and group work. The curriculum focuses on command-line data analysis using R and RStudio.

Participants must have basic knowledge of R/RStudio. Candidates should have a background in Biology or related fields and be either researchers or students.

Regarding certification, a certificate of attendance is awarded for attending more than 90% of the course, while a certificate with credits (6 ECTS) is awarded for attending more than 90% of the course and completing a final assessment.

The course is free for PhD students enrolled in the Doctoral Program in Biology. All candidates must submit a motivation letter.
