The Waves of Change: Changing Hearts and Minds through Citizen Science conference will take place on May 23 and 24 at Taguspark, in collaboration with the Oeiras Valley Science Festival, in Oeiras.

This conference aims to build bridges between citizen science, education, and civic engagement by bringing together researchers, citizen science initiatives, educators, students, and citizens to share best practices and highlight the contributions of the OTTERS project to the field over the past three years.

Through oral presentations, workshops, posters, and exhibition stands, the conference will showcase innovative strategies to promote citizen science, engage communities, build capacity in education, and expand impactful initiatives.

Interested participants can submit their work until March 21, 2025, via the conference website.

Submissions are accepted in one or more of the following categories: workshop, oral presentation, poster, and stand.
