The CESAM and the Department of Biology (DBio), University of Aveiro, will host the Aveiro Workshop 2026 on April 27–28, 2026, within the framework of the COST Action CA24152 EPICROPS, under the theme “Epitranscriptomics & ncRNA: Building the EPICROPS Roadmap.”

This will be the first workshop of the Action, bringing together 16 European researchers to discuss recent advances and outline future strategies in an emerging field of plant biology. The meeting aims to foster international collaboration and contribute to the development of a European roadmap in epitranscriptomics and ncRNA.

The event aligns with the mission of CESAM’s Research Cluster 2, reinforcing interdisciplinary research and international scientific cooperation, with a particular focus on climate resilience.

The workshop is organized by WG1, led by Gloria Pinto (University of Aveiro) and Stéphane Maury (Université d’Orléans / INRAE), with coordination by Jesús Pascual Vázquez (University of Oviedo).

The workshop will take place at the University of Aveiro, Portugal.
