The international meeting Estremoz Talks on Earth Dynamics 2026 (EsTED 2026) will take place in Estremoz, from May 29 to 31, focusing on geodynamic processes and the dynamics of the Earth system.

Organised by the Estremoz Ciência Viva Science Centre, the Institute of Earth Sciences, and in partnership with several scientific institutions, the event promotes an informal discussion environment among researchers, combining the reading and analysis of scientific papers, thematic workshops, and debate sessions over three days.

CESAM is part of the organisation as a scientific partner, contributing to discussions on Earth dynamics. The programme includes the participation of CESAM researchers such as João Miguel Dias, Director of the Department of Physics at the University of Aveiro, involved in sessions dedicated to the modelling of ocean processes and the carbon cycle.
