On 2–3 July 2026, the University of Aveiro will host the FATS-O-MICS 2026 – Workshop on Food Lipids and Lipidomics for Health, Nutrition, and Sustainability.

This international workshop will bring together researchers working in the fields of food lipids, lipidomics, nutrition, and sustainability, fostering knowledge exchange, scientific discussion, and networking in an inspiring environment.

The event represents an excellent opportunity to present scientific work, exchange ideas, and establish international collaborations.

CESAM is directly involved in the organisation of the event through the Congress Chair, Rosário Domingues, CESAM researcher and Professor at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Aveiro, with the participation of other CESAM researchers in the scientific and organising committees.

Aveiro, a vibrant coastal city, will provide the setting for two days dedicated to science, discussion, and exchange.
