
Free training session dedicated to scientific writing and the process of publishing in international journals. The event aims to support Master’s and PhD students, as well as early-career researchers, in understanding the challenges of publication, identifying criteria for journal selection, and exploring useful tools such as the Journal Citation Reports.

Objectives / Contents
The training session will help participants better understand the landscape of scientific publishing and select suitable journals for their articles. The session is divided into two blocks:
- Session 1: evolution and challenges of scientific publishing; importance of impact factor journals; personal and institutional criteria; associated limitations.
- Session 2: use of Journal Citation Reports; definition of quartiles; alternative metrics; practical examples of journal selection.
