The Bootcamp “Making Funding Possible with AI,” promoted by CESAM, is a two-day (6-hour) intensive programme aimed at researchers and research managers of the University of Aveiro who wish to deepen their skills in using artificial intelligence (AI) tools for preparing competitive funding applications. The event trainer, Avi Staiman, is an internationally recognised expert in AI tools for research.

The program combines lectures with practical activities, including case discussions and interactive exercises. Participants will gain essential skills to:

• Integrate AI tools in the preparation of competitive funding proposals;
  
• Adhere to data privacy principles and scientific integrity;
  
• Promote the responsible use of AI in research.

This Bootcamp is an initiative of CESAM within the framework of the European projects FONDA and EPIBOOST, reinforcing the commitment of these projects to empower the scientific community with innovative tools that enhance excellence and integrity in research.

The number of participants is limited, and selection criteria may apply if necessary. Registration is mandatory and must be completed by September 10.
