Next November 25th (Monday, 9:00 – 16:30), at Anf. Carlos Borrego (DAO), a multidisciplinary workshop entitled When Chemistry meets Biology will take place:

(Eco)toxicity of Biodegradable Polymers and Nanomaterials, dedicated to the development and evaluation of (eco)toxicological effects of (bio)degradable polymers and nanomaterials. The event features eight speakers from UA, Univ. Lisbon and Univ. Pardubice (Czech Republic), with emphasis on the main speaker, Prof. Dr. Tomas Rousar (see program). In the last block, there will be a round table dedicated to discussing the challenges and opportunities in the topic of developing functional and sustainable polymers and (nano)technologies.

Participation in the event is free and the coffee break is included, with no pre-registration required.

We invite the entire community to participate in the event, including students, whether or not focused on these topics and/or looking for a different research topic.
