From October 21 to December 31, 2025, the Fábrica Centro Ciência Viva de Aveiro will host the photography exhibition “A Colorful World of Spiders”, a joint initiative of the Department of Biology and CESAM – Centre for Environmental and Marine Studies of the University of Aveiro.

Curated by Aldiro Pereira, the exhibition features works by Aldiro Pereira, António Vieira, and Fábio Gomes, researchers and photographers from the Department of Biology, who capture through their lenses the surprising beauty and diversity of spiders.

The scientific review was carried out by Cristovão Belperin and Jorge Henriques, members of CESAM.
