The Society for Experimental Biology (SEB) will hold its Annual Conference 2026 in Florence from 7 to 9 July 2026, bringing together researchers from different areas of biology to share results, discuss new approaches, and foster scientific collaborations under the theme “Resilience”.

CESAM will be represented by Diana Madeira, researcher at CESAM/DBIO, who, together with Piero Calosi, Professor at the University of Quebec in Rimouski, will co-organize session A7 – The Battle of Sexes: Comparative Biology of Females and Males, focused on the comparative biology of females and males and its implications for contemporary experimental research.
