The University of the Arctic (UArctic) has opened nominations for the 2026 Frederik Paulsen Arctic Academic Action Award, inviting proposals for early stage, action‑oriented ideas that aim to address the causes and impacts of climate change in the Arctic. The annual award recognises innovative concepts that have the potential to turn research-based knowledge into practical interventions, with a particular emphasis on approaches that prevent, mitigate, adapt to or reverse the effects of climate change across the region. The award is €100,000.
