The Portuguese Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation (FFMS) funds the preparation of studies and policy papers. The Foundation’s studies must comprehensively and in-depth analyse beyond the reality and include proposals for national public policies; they are expected to take two years to prepare. Regarding the FFMS’s policy papers, these are quick-read documents with recommendations and lines of action for decision-makers and those who are responsible for national public policies; they are expected to take six months to prepare.
