The Call for Decade Actions is open to initiatives that enhance the science-policy-society nexus, translating scientific evidence into policies for sustainable ocean management and community well-being. You can apply for endorsement of proposals rooted in the priorities outlined in the Barcelona Statement and that contribute to the Ocean Decade vision. Please note that the Ocean Decade is not a funding mechanism. However, proponents of Decade Actions may benefit in terms of resource mobilization and funding. You can submit Decade Programmes, Projects, Contributions or one-off standalone initiatives; For each there is a specific deadline and form.
