The University of Aveiro has launched the call for the allocation of 10 PhD scholarships at University of Aveiro. Candidates in any of the fields of science in which the Research Units and Associate Laboratories of the University of Aveiro are working may apply.

Eligibility

• Candidates must have a minimum overall grade of 16, which is a weighted average (3/5 Degree + 2/5 Master) of the final overall grade for the Degree plus Master or the final overall grade for the Integrated Mater study cycle (the Bachelor/Masters study cycle consisting of 300 to 360 ECTS credits), and who wish to obtain the academic degree of PhD at the University of Aveiro.
• The allocation of the scholarship is contingent upon the prior matriculation of the beneficiary to the degree of PhD at the University of Aveiro.
• Scholarship applications must reflect interdisciplinarity.

Applicants who have previously benefitted from a University of Aveiro PhD Scholarship or a PhD Scholarship from any other entity will not be admitted.

Funding

This scholarship includes a monthly stipend plus the cost of tuition fees as defined in the table provided in Despacho n.º 15-REIT/2024.

Duration

The scholarships have a duration of one year with the possibility of renewal for equal periods, up to a maximum of four years.
