UNESCO is awarding young researchers working on ecosystems, natural resources, and biodiversity. Applicants from developed countries (such as Portugal) are eligible in exceptional cases or if collaborating with developing countries. Priority is given to interdisciplinary projects carried out in biosphere reserves designated under the Man and the Biosphere Programme or potential biosphere reserves and which contribute to the implementation of the Hangzhou Strategic Action Plan and the SDGs.
Eligibility
Applicants must be 35 years old or younger at the application closing date.
Applicants from developed countries are eligible only in exceptional cases or if collaborating with developing countries.
