The pressures on coastal wetlands have been increasing, and conservation and restoration of mangroves and other coastal wetlands, such as seagrass meadows, can be substantially improved by providing ongoing up-to-date trends that are cost-effective and publicly accessible. GLOW aims to integrate existing regional data with newly collected local data in accessible and updatable formats to enable better information sharing, inform best practice, and drive innovative solutions for the conservation of coastal wetlands globally.
