The Congress will take place on October 23rd, at the premises of Turismo de Portugal/Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril, in Estoril, and will feature 2 panels: Insects: Source of Health, Flavor and Sustainability and Much More than Protein.

Alongside the Congress, the Portuguese Society of Industrial Entomology and the Center for Masters and PhD Students in Industrial Entomology will be established.

The Congress Organizing Committee also challenged students and researchers in the sector to present posters of work carried out within the scope of this new bioindustrial sector.
