Registrations are now open for the 6th International Conference on Risk Assessment of Pharmaceuticals in the Environment (ICRAPHE), which will take place at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, on 20–21 October 2025.

The deadline for oral communication submissions is 1 July 2025, and the deadline for poster presentations is 31 July 2025.

This international event will bring together researchers and recognised experts in various fields related to the study of pharmaceuticals in the environment, including:

• New strategies for detection and quantification;
• Remediation methodologies (adsorption, advanced oxidation processes, bioremediation, etc.);
• Ecological and human health effects, and risk assessment;
• Environmental fate and interactions with other contaminants, namely microplastics.

The 6th ICRAPHE will provide an excellent opportunity for sharing ideas and fostering new collaborations. The conference aims to showcase the latest scientific advances in this area, with a particular focus on future research needs.
