The 7th Conference on Estuarine and Coastal Morphodynamics – MEC2024 – will take place at the José Grácio Auditorium, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Aveiro, from April 22 to 24, 2024.

This initiative, organized by the University of Aveiro, the National Laboratory of Civil Engineering, the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, the University of Algarve, the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, and the Instituto Superior Técnico, aims to be a forum for presenting research related to the morphodynamics of coastal areas and for discussing ideas, knowledge, and information about the coastal zone.

The Organizing Committee invites the scientific community and entities responsible for coastal zone management to participate in this event and submit their work for oral presentation or as a poster.

Abstract submission is open until January 15, 2024.
