The field course “Ecological Research in Mediterranean Ecosystems – From Theory to Practice” will be held between 17 and 29 April, 2023.
Brief theoretical introductions on sampling design, habitat characterization, and biodiversity surveys will be followed by practical sessions in a Mediterranean landscape, the Faia Brava reserve (Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, Portugal).
The course is free and targets BSc, MSc or PhD students, aiming to deepen knowledge on the design and implementation of ecological studies, and monitoring wildlife populations and habitats.
