INRAE, in collaboration with Alternet, is organizing a webinar on January 11, 2024, focusing on “Science-policy interface in practice.” The event will present a collective scientific expertise example on “the impacts of plant protection products on biodiversity and ecosystem services.” This initiative, coordinated by INRAE and IFREMER, was conducted at the request of the French ministries in charge of research, agriculture, and ecological transition.

The webinar aims to share the outcomes of this scientific expertise and initiate a dialogue on the science-policy interface. Participants will discuss the role of scientific expertise in informing public debate and shaping public policies.
