Food4Sustainability and Building Global Innovators are announcing the second Soil Microbiology Mini-Conference in the upcoming AgriFood Open Day, to be held at Arruda dos Vinhos, on 10th July 2024. The call for abstracts for the mini-conference is open until 2nd June and it will allow to showcase groundbreaking research and innovative bio-based solutions on the role and impact of soil microbiota in soil health and productivity. Abstracts on the following topics:
- Technologies for bio-based solutions: Innovating in the production of biofertilizers, biostimulants, and other organic fertilizers.
- Microbial Solutions for Soil Health: Leveraging beneficial microbes to enhance soil fertility and plant health.
- Bioremediation: Using microorganisms to detoxify polluted soils and water, restoring environmental health.
- Biopesticides and Biocontrol Agents: Developing microbial solutions to combat pests and diseases, reducing reliance on chemical pesticides.
