On May 17th, as part of the celebrations for Navy Day, the Symposium “The Sea: Traditions and Challenges” will take place at the Rectorate of the University of Aveiro. The Symposium will consist of four panels dedicated to the following themes:
– The Sea: Timeless Challenges I – Ocean Sustainability;
– The Sea: Contemporary Challenges I – Practices for Sustainability;
– The Sea: Contemporary Challenges II – Technology in Service of Knowledge;
– The Sea: Timeless Challenges II – Past and Present.
Attendance to the event is free but subject to registration by filling out the form by May 10th.
