Call for projects in the area of bio-based solutions

18/09/2024

The Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) 2024 call is open and will fund projects that respect the principles of circularity, sustainability, and planetary boundaries, contributing to the EU’s climate targets for 2030, paving the way for climate neutrality by 2050, and advancing circular and sustainable production in line with the European Green Deal, while increasing Europe’s strategic autonomy and industrial competitiveness.

CBE JU supports the scaling up of technologies leading to industrial deployment, thus boosting investment and job creation. The partnership involves a wider range of stakeholders including the primary sector, regional authorities, and investors to support the deployment of bio-based solutions.

CBE JU calls follow the rules and procedures of the Horizon Europe programme. The total call budget is 213 M€.
