The 2024 Ocean Decade Conference will be part of an entire Ocean Decade Week in Barcelona from 8 to 12 April 2024.  To complement the formal Conference programme, partners are invited to submit applications for a limited number of Satellite Events that will be held prior to, and in the sidelines of, the Conference.

Applications for Satellite Events will close on 30 October 2023. 

Satellite Events can take diverse forms and may include Workshops, Meetings of working groups or committees, Training sessions, Seminars or symposium, Panels or dialogues, Cultural events (e.g. cinema, theatre, concerts, etc.), Networking events including lunches, dinners or receptions, Exhibitions or artistic displays.  

The events are not limited to those mentioned above and to learn more about Satellite Events, please read the Guidance Note.

Booth Sponsorship is also available at the 2024 Ocean Decade Conference. Participants can present their activities at the Conference. More information on the logistics and costs of booths can be obtained by contacting oceandecade@unesco.org.
