The first thirteen editions, totaling 200 considered applications and the recognition of eighteen young researchers, including awardees and honorable mentions, have established this initiative as a distinctive and innovative national award, ensuring the promotion and appreciation of the important role of young researchers in advancing knowledge in the areas of Conservation and Biodiversity of Continental Aquatic Resources (Rivers and Estuaries).

Following this success, the Fluviarium de Mora is relaunching the challenge, and we are pleased to provide you with the regulations and registration form for the Fluviarium Award 2023 – Young Scientist of the Year, attached herewith. This edition will reward the distinguished researcher with recognition of the quality and significance of their work, along with a monetary prize of 1000 euros.

Applications should be submitted by December 31, 2023, and can be made by academic advisors, co-authors of the papers, or the students themselves. Each candidate can only submit one paper for consideration.
