Applications for the Bilateral Research Fund (BRF) 2024 program are open. This is an initiative of PARSUK – Portuguese Association of Researchers and Students in the UK, funded by FCT, which aims to establish and develop scientific collaborations between Portugal and the UK.

The BRF is an annual program that offers doctoral and early career researchers the opportunity to obtain grants of up to €3,000. Five proposals are expected to be funded.

The lead applicant must be affiliated with a research institution in Portugal or the UK, and may have several co-investigators. At least one co-investigator must be based in the partner country (for example, if the lead applicant is based in a Portuguese research institution, the co-investigator must be based in a British research institution).
