The L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science (FWIS) International Awards recognise outstanding contributions by female scientists to the advancement of science. The L’Oréal charitable foundation and the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) offer five jointly financed International Awards in the area of Life and Environmental Sciences. Each of the five winners will receive a prize of €100,000.
