Deadline: 1 February 2027
The European project AQUARIUS launched a call for internships for early career scientists, technicians, PhD students, MSc students and post-docs working in marine and freshwater sciences. Interns will not conduct their research but will have the opportunity to learn how international scientific teams work and how to utilise the research infrastructures available in AQUARIUS. This is a great opportunity to learn with top research teams and/or go on board of ships or other infrastructures.
AQUARIUS project will maintain a database of all qualified, interested candidates and, as training opportunities become available, will draw up a shortlist by assessing suitability for the project on offer.
For more information about the available AQUARIUS infrastructures, please visit Research Infrastructures Catalogue – AQUARIUS.

- The applicant must have a background in marine and freshwater sciences and/or be currently working in this field
- Applications must include letters of recommendation specifically related to the on-board training opportunity
