The Österreichischer Austauschdienst (OeAD – The Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research) Ernst Mach Grant Worldwide is now accepting applications from young researchers outside Austria for research visits to Austria. The grant programme, offers a maximum award value of €12,700.
The Ernst Mach Grant Worldwide is an international mobility initiative aimed at young researchers from foreign institutions who wish to conduct research activities in Austria. This programme is open to doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers under the age of 35, offering research or study stays of up to nine months at Austrian institutions. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in either German or English and must not have conducted research or studies in Austria during the six months preceding the grant award.
The programme covers a wide range of scientific fields, including natural sciences, technical sciences, medicine, health sciences, agricultural sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities. Successful candidates receive a monthly stipend of €1,300, with additional travel allowances available for researchers from non-European developing countries. Assistance will be provided in arranging accommodation and health insurance.
