The aim of AgriTarget is to develop and test nano-enabled carriers that can provide controlled delivery of active ingredients (AIs) to plants in real soil/plant settings. In this project, a carrier is composed of a matrix loaded with nanoparticles/ nanocarriers for target and controlled/ stimuli-responsive delivery of AIs to plant shoots or roots. Following the AIs release and uptake, the matrix will degrade to ensure materials safety.
