In view of the worldwide pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, it is urgent to create user-friendly and cost-effective tools capable of providing an early, fast and efficient diagnostic of infection by citizens. In this sense, the SENSECOR project aims to develop Proof of Concept of an innovative and unprecedented system that integrates several units: immunosensory elements, mobile application for smartphone, signal conditioning module and data communication. SENSECOR is part of the “I&D Companies” typology under the call “Aviso n.º 15/SI/2020 – I&D Empresas – COVID-19”, and will be carried out by a joint consortium established between the University of Aveiro and the company Wavecom, in collaboration with two partner entities, Instituto de Telecomunicações 2 (IT2) and Centro Hospitalar do Baixo Vouga, E.P.E. (CHBV).
