The first Workshop “Impact of atmospheric, terrestrial, and aquatic stressors in coastal ecosystems” organized within the framework of AMBIEnCE Project (https://projectambience.wordpress.com/) was held on the 23rd of October 2019, at the University of Aveiro. This Workshop had presentations from members of CESAM research groups “Environmental Processes and Pollutants” and “Functional Biodiversity”, as well as a researcher from GeoBioTec Research Unit and a researcher from University NOVA de Lisboa. More than 50 participants, among researchers, postgraduate and undergraduate students jointed together for one day to address and discuss the impact of different atmospheric, terrestrial, and aquatic multi-stressors currently threatening biogeochemical cycles in sensitive coastal areas.
