João Serôdio, currently Assistant Professor at the Department of Biology and member of the CESAM, is the the Research of the Month of the University of Aveiro.
João Serôdio received his Ph.D in Biology (Ecology and Biosystematics), in 1999 by the University of Lisbon. Currently he is coordinating a Marie Curie Action IRSES (International Research Staff Exchange Scheme), financed by FP7. The project is entitled SYMBIOCoRe- Synergies through Merging BIOlogical and biogeochemical expertise in COral Research, involving universities and research institutes from 6 countries and foreseeing the mobility of 35 researchers, 9 of them from the Department of Biology.
