Contract, under the Portuguese Labour Code, 1 (one) position for a first-level doctorate Researcher for the exercise of research activities in the scientific area of Environmental Sciences and Engineering, to exercise the functions of selection, instrumentation, and implementation of innovative solutions to combat desertification at study sites in (agro-)forestry and/or agricultural areas; collection of data and samples of vegetation and physical, chemical, and biological soil properties for laboratory and exploratory/statistical analysis; holding and evaluation of participatory events with local agents, within the scope of the project ‘TERRASAFE. PT – TErrestrial Resilience & RestorAtion Strategies to combat dEsertification in PorTugal‘, supported by the La Caixa- Promove Foundation Funding Programme.
