CESAM will participate in the BioMarine Business Convention 2018 to be held in Cascais, Portugal. This event will gather institutions, scientists, companies (pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food, construction, aquaculture, etc) and other stakeholders interested in the Blue Economy. It will be an event where the latest developments regarding the ocean and the evolution and opportunities that Portugal offers for a sustainable blue economy will be shared. CESAM will be present as a demonstrator in the MyBlueCity. We will present several movies, related with marine research, advanced courses in marine sciences and infrastructures sea-related of the University of Aveiro together with some dissemination material regarding the training offer by the University related with marine sciences. Furthermore, CESAM will have an exposition of the biota of the deep-sea with economic value for the blue economy with the kind support of COBI – Biological Research Collection.
