The BBVA Foundation Awards for Biodiversity Conservation seek to recognize and reward the work done by conservationist organizations, institutions and agencies in carrying forward environmental conservation policies and projects, and the efforts of communication professionals who have placed their abilities at the service of protecting our natural heritage.

BBVA Foundation Worldwide Award for Biodiversity Conservation, with prize money of 250,000 euros
Recognizing the execution of projects, policies and/or actions of particular significance for the protection and conservation of habitats, species or ecosystems in any country except Spain, completed before December 31, 2022 and yielding concrete, proven benefits for biodiversity conservation in their area of work.
