The Portuguese Society of Ecology remains committed to energizing the Ecology Day: an international initiative that uniquely brings together ecology and society towards the development of a more sustainable human progress.

Marked on September 14th, the Ecology Day gathers a series of activities and educational resources in a program that not only captivates but also raises awareness among the general public about various issues within the field of Ecology.

The creation of this program is entrusted to partners who share this motivation and join in the celebration: from research centers to non-governmental environmental organizations, and including businesses and municipalities. This diverse network of entities has allowed for an increasing reach across various sectors of society.

If there is a date to showcase the best efforts in the field of Ecology and Environment in Portugal, that date is September 14th, on the Ecology Day.
