EuroMarine, a network to which CESAM belongs, unites marine scientists across disciplines, fostering collaboration and innovation to address key challenges in marine research. On February 25th, 2024, Euromarine will organize the next EuroMarine Open Science Day, in Chioggia (Italy). Registration is now open.
This event offers a unique opportunity to celebrate marine research achievements, share cutting-edge findings, and engage in vibrant discussions within the community. In line with the theme “Excellent Science”, EuroMarine invites all members to submit abstracts for presentations.
Event Format:
The day will feature two dynamic sessions:
- Morning Session (9:30 AM – 1:00 PM): Focus on scientific advances in marine research.
- Afternoon Session (2:30 PM – 5:30 PM): Addressing socio-ecological challenges for marine conservation and restoration in the context of a changing planet.
Each session begins with a keynote address by a selected speaker, followed by 10-15 minute presentations with ample time for audience interaction.
What EuroMarine is looking for?
To select 10-12 short presentations that highlight innovative marine science and encourage transdisciplinary dialogue. The event also seeks to showcase the collective strength of the EuroMarine network to the broader public.
