SESSION DEDICATED to ERC and EIC grants of the Horizon Europe programme

07/06/2024
09:30 - 11:00

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and the National Innovation Agency (ANI) are organising a session focused on the European Research Council (ERC) grants and European Innovation Council (EIC) projects of the Horizon Europe programme. The online session will take place on June 7th, from 09:30 to 11:00, in a digital format, with the theme “Opportunities for funding R&D projects with components of excellent scientific research”. This session represents an opportunity to understand the synergies and differences between the two, enabling applicants to take advantage of various funding opportunities and to plan a medium/long-term technological leverage path.

The ERC and EIC are the Horizon Europe programmes aimed at funding R&D projects with components of excellent scientific research. The ERC is framed within Pillar I – Scientific Excellence of Horizon Europe, and the EIC within Pillar II – Innovative Europe. Currently, the call for ERC Advanced Grants (ERC-2024-AdG) is open, with a deadline of August 29th. These grants are intended for Principal Investigators with significant scientific impact.

Registration is free but mandatory through the link.
