The BlueBio Alliance participates in the Blue Bio Techpreneurs project, which aims to help students pursue careers at Blue Biotech, providing them with entrepreneurial and transversal skills that are in high demand in the sector. Through a MOOC, three Hackathons and a series of webinars, it aims to inform, inspire and connect students.

The next webinar in the BlueBioTechpreneurs Transfer the Business Gene webinar series will address how careers in marine biotechnology can contribute to respecting and protecting the environment.

Pioneers of the blue bioeconomy who have found better ways of doing business will be present, with sustainability and circularity at the center of their work. These speakers will share how their businesses are working with nature, for nature. After the presentations, a round table will be held on sustainable business models in blue biotechnology, with space for a question and answer section.

The webinar will take place on October 3rd, from 11am to 12pm CET, and will be in English.
