OYSTER (Orienting Young ScienTists of EuromaRine) considers supporting capacity building for young scientists a key priority. Therefore, the group will pursue the Call for Research Grants for EuroMarine Early Career Researchers, with support from EuroMarine. This call for proposals will fund two €7,500 grants to Early Career Researchers from EuroMarine Full Member Organisations to undertake an original and collaborative research project.

Definition of Early Career Researcher for this call: PhD students or individuals holding a postdoctoral position within 5 years of their PhD degree award (discounting any time spent on maternity, illness or similarly extensive non-holiday leave) at the time of call deadline.
