Circular Seas 2024 competition

14/11/2023

Deadline: 14th November

Circular Seas aims to solve the enormous challenge of waste accumulation in the seas, reducing the impact of human activity on our coasts and moving from linear to circular production. The 6th edition of the Circular Seas Awards for Start-ups and Research Projects, coordinated by the League for the Protection of Nature (LPN), is now open and we are awarding prizes to two types of applications:

  • Research projects: institutions, organisations and individuals dedicated to scientific research and the conservation of natural resources in the search for practical solutions to the environmental problems generated by waste and marine litter;
  • Start-ups: people, institutions or organisations wishing to implement business initiatives or consolidate start-ups that develop solutions to the environmental problems generated by waste and marine litter, from a circular economy perspective.

One winning project will be chosen in each category and a prize of €7,000 will be awarded to each winning project.
