How dangerous are the chemicals used in everyday products? The European project PARC (HORIZON-HLTH-2021-ENVHLTH-03) aims to develop next generation chemical risk assessment to protect human health and the environment. The PARC team at the CESAM/University of Aveiro is now looking for young and highly motivated researchers with a MSc, seeking to pursue a PhD degree and to apply for the 2024 FCT individual PhD Studentships call. Three themes are available:
A) Ecotoxicity of Bisphenol A alternatives to in vitro and in vivo amphibian biological models (contact ilopes@ua.pt);
B) Are Bisphenol A alternatives safer for the environment? A case study with zebrafish embryos (contact inesd@ua.pt);
C) Ecotoxicity of Bisphenol A alternatives to aquatic invertebrates (contact jpestana@ua.pt).
