The Interreg Next MED 2021-2027 cooperation program will launch its first call for transnational projects in November. The program will receive funding of 103.6 million euros from the European Union (EU), supporting projects that promote innovative and sustainable solutions to shared challenges in the Mediterranean basin.
The geographical coverage of the competition extends to more than 90 territories in 7 EU countries and 8 partner countries, namely Cyprus, Greece, France, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain and Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Tunisia and Turkey. This competition will therefore encourage collaboration on projects in the Mediterranean basin. Funding will cover up to 89% of project costs, allowing for broad participation and impact.
Interested entities can contact the Program’s Branch Office (mailto:enicbcmed_valencia@gva.es) or the Agency for Development and Cohesion I.P. (mailto:nct@adcoesao.pt) for more information on applications.
