The international network, Ocean Decade, is inviting the global ocean community to participate in the review process of the draft White Papers developed by the 10 Working Groups of the Vision 2030 process. Contributions will directly influence the revision of these documents.

Deadline: 22 February 2024

The White Papers are the result of several months of collaborative work initiated in early 2023. They outline a comprehensive and visionary strategic ambition based on user needs, priority datasets, residual gaps in science, as well as scientific knowledge, resources or infrastructure, partnerships, capacity development, technology solutions and infrastructure required for each Challenge to ensure that it can be fulfilled by 2030.

To ensure a diverse and inclusive approach to the Vision 2030 process, the Ocean Decade is offering a global platform for stakeholders to share insights and collectively advance the implementation of the Ocean Decade Challenges. The consolidated version of the documents will be presented and discussed at the 2024 Ocean Decade Conference (Barcelona, Spain, 8-12 April 2024).

To contribute you should download the draft White Papers, provide your feedback and inputs on the White Paper through this survey (one for each paper you review), and attend the review webinars organized in the week of 12 February.
