Open call for access to EMSO Facilities

30/06/2024

The European Multidisciplinary Seafloor and water column Observatory (EMSO) is offering physical access to their facilities where users’ devices can be installed, including sensors, instruments, systems, and new technologies, and where new procedures/experiments can be tested/take place.

Deadline: 30 June 2024

Seven facilities are available this year, with two located in the Atlantic Ocean and five in the Mediterranean Sea. Starting this year the applicants can benefit also from the possibility of having physical access and/or support from more than one facility to carry out their testing or projects.

Funding consists in Facility Access Units (days of usage) and economic support for operations, travel, shipping and consumables. This economic support amounts to 120000 € for all projects in 2024 and will be distributed evenly among six cut-off dates. This 2024 call is expected to fund a minimum of seven projects.
