The NanoBioEscudo project aims to develop disruptive anti-fouling additives for maritime coatings to prevent marine biofouling in a durable and eco-friendly manner. The product’s innovation lies in bioinspired molecules with anti-fouling properties immobilized in nano/biomaterials with controlled release properties towards enhancing the antifouling efficacy and durability with clear economic and environmental benefits.
